<p>This sheet music is for the song "Alexander's Ragtime Band," by Irving Berlin. It was published by Irving Berlin Music Corporation in New York, New York, in 1911 and 1938. This is a copy of the original titlepage from 1911.</p>
<p>This song was featured in the 1938, 20th Century-Fox musical film <i>Alexander's Ragtime Band,</i> directed by Henry King and starred Tyrone Power, Alice Faye, Don Ameche, Jack Haley, and Ethel Merman.</p>
<p>The cover art for this sheet music was made by Irish-American artist John Frew (1874-1955). Frew immigrated to the United States in 1895. He was active through the mid-1940s and also created cover artwork for magazines and book covers.</p>
