Description (Brief):
From 1968 through the late 1970s, snurfer racing competitions were held in Wisconsin and became very popular. Competition from other snowboard designers and manufacturers began appearing and the snurfer began to change. The Official Super racing model snurfer now has four plastic foot holds attached with metal screws instead of the metal staples. The metal blade and rope handle are still apparent but the V-shape groove at the back of the board has disappeared so that it is now flat.
