Description (Brief):
“Bobby & Betty’s Trip to the New York World’s Fair” commemorates the New York World's Fair held in Queens 1939-1940. The lid of the box has a stylized Trylon and Perisphere, abstracted fair attractions and visitors, and a silhouette of Bobby and Betty. The board game itself has a photo of Bobby and Betty, as well as an aerial illustration of the fairgrounds.
This game comes with 26 destination cards of exhibits or places around the 1939 World’s Fair, as listed on the board. After drawing 5 cards, players’ objective is to stop at all of their selected spots using a roll of the dice. Players strategize the best route to get around the board; whoever completes their route first and gets to the finish line wins.
The game was produced by Parker Brothers Inc., who produced other games such as Monopoly. An advertisment for Monopoly and other games is included in the box.
