Baule women's anklets are emblems of status and wealth. They are distinguished by an overall surface of incised lines and ridges punctuated by concentric semicircles. Cast in the lost wax method, they are generally hollow and may have contained rattles.

Cast copper alloy ridged c-form anklet with center band flanked by half circles.
