Description:
Gilt silver (gold wash) pin (or hair ornament) in a modified teardrop shape with two smaller teardrops placed at the top and parallel lines of a single loop of twisted wire elements decorating the outer edges of the central teardrop, with a large circle filled with lines of twisted wire and globules placed at the bottom and center of the larger teardrop, and at the corners of the smaller teardrops. The back is hammered flat, convex metal, with a broken attachment rod.
