Gold necklace with one large and 2 smaller hollow openwork cylindrical pendants and four balls grouped into twos on either side; joined by two twisted chains in 6 sections and held together with a modern lobster claw clasp. The main pendant is decorated with three rows of pierced chevrons alternating with raised chevrons. Smaller cylinders are impressed with almond shapes and pierced with and alternating and reversed design of perpendicular rectangles in the shape of a "J." The spheres are decorated with two plain parallel bands and impressed with a grainy texture. NThe necklace may be manufactured outside of Senegal; not handmade.
