Description:
Wood seated mother and child. Seated female on stool, holding child on lap who is sitting sideways. Very elongated figure. Hair is in style of long, thick braids and she wears a cap on her head. Carved representations of armbands on each arm. Very dark and highly polished wood. Scarifications on breasts.
