All but one of the men are wearing tuxedos and the women are wearing matching dresses. One man in the choir, to the right of the photograph, wears a uniform. Choral director Hall Johnson stands to the left of the photograph on the side of the stage near the riser. Audience members are visible in the foreground. The back of the photograph has a stamp.
