This is the Italian edition of General Colin L. Powell's autobiography, published in the United States as My American Journey. This autobiography covers General Powell's life and military career. The book begins with his birth in Harlem and covers his 35 years of Army service including the Vietnam War, Desert Storm, and his time serving as the first African American Joint Chief of Staff.
A hardcover Italian edition of General Colin L. Powell’s autobiography, titled Nato nel Bronx [Born in the Bronx], originally published as My American Journey in the U.S. There are no markings on the front and back hardcovers, while the blue and white block spine displays the book title, authors, and publisher’s logo. The white jacket cover features a color portrait of General Powell wearing eyeglasses and his military service uniform with four-star general shoulder boards displayed. Across the bottom of General Powell’s portrait, white and black text is positioned over blue, white and red blocks with the title “NATO NEL BRONX.” On the reverse of the jacket is a summary written in black Italian text. There are several black-and-white supplemental photographs throughout the book, and the last numbered page is 519.
