An Armed Forces Expeditions, Panama 1989-1990 campaign streamer, owned by General Colin L. Powell. This forked lengthy rayon battle streamer was awarded to General Powell for his leadership, as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, in the United States military intervention which took place in Panama between 1990 and 1991. The streamer is designed with double-sided horizontal colors featuring a green border and wide bright blue center striped in the middle with red, white, and dark blue. On either side of the center are narrow stripe groups of black, brown, and yellow. Large white embroidery sewn between each black stripe on the front of the streamer depicts the words “PANAMA 1989-1990”. A brass grommet hole for hanging is positioned at the center top end of the streamer and there is no additional embroidery on the reverse of the streamer.
