A gray fedora worn by Cab Calloway. The felt hat is medium gray in color and features a wide, black, ribbon hat band. The hat band terminates in a small bow on the proper left side. Threaded behind the bow is a small, red, gray, black, and white feather. A plastic, pearl ended stick pin has been inserted into the center of the bow. The interior of the crown is lined with a white, satin finished fabric. Stamped in gold at the interior center of the crown is text that reads [Arnold / HATTERS / New York] below a gold stamped illustration of a top hat. The interior headband is black with a leather texture and a gold line around the top edge. It features sets of four diagonal perforations around the entire band and a gold stamp with text that reads [Arnold / HATTERS / NEW YORK]. The text is surrounded by a gold flourish frame. At the back of the hat band is a small, white, elastic bow used to adjust the size of the hat band.
