A flier for The Beastie Boys with Fishbone at the Hollywood Palladium. The flier is in landscape orientation and printed on white paper with blue and red text, graphics, and illustrations. At the top left is [GOLDENVOICE PRESENTS] with a small loss at the corner. At the top center of the flier, inside a red banner and red diamond graphic is the name of the headlining group, [I / BEASTIE / BOYS], printed in white and red text. Below, in blue text, is the event date, [SAT / FEB 7] on the left, and the venue, [HWD. PALLADIUM / 6215 W SUNSET BLVD. HWD] on the right.
The bottom half of the flier features a large, red illustration of a plane crushing into a mountain from the gatefold sleeve of the of the group’s debut album License to Ill. The front body of the plane is crumpled. The plane has the same diamond-shape Beastie Boys logo on the tail, in addition to an American flag and the text [3MTA3 / Def / Jam]. Below is the guest act printed in red text that reads [With Special Guest] and [fishbone] printed in large white text outlined in red. To the right of the plane, printed in red and white, is the Ticketmaster logo: the name [TICKETMASTER] over a red circle with [TM] printed in white inside. Below are the other ticket outlets printed in red text that reads [May Co. / Sportmart Stores / Music Plus / Auditorium Box Off] above a red outlined, diagonally oriented box in the bottom right corner that reads [ON SALE / NOW].
Additional event information printed at the bottom of the flier in large, red, stencil font text and small red text reads [FULL BAR W/iD], [For More Information Call: / 213 466 4311], and [SHOW STARTS AT 8:00 P.M. ENDS PROMPTLY AT 11:00 P.M.]. A loss at the top left corner partially obscures the name of the promotors printed in red text that reads [---OLDENVOICE PRESENTS]. In the top right corner, the venue information is repeated in red text that reads [ALL AGES / HWD. PALLADIUM / 6215 W SUNSET BLVD. HWD]. The back of the flier has no text or inscriptions.
