A sepia tone carte-de-visite bust self-portrait of photographer Alexander S. Thomas. Captured in studio, gazing to the left in the encircled photograph is photographer Alexander S. Thomas. He has short and dark wavy hair, a moustache, and wears a bright collared shirt, and dark notched lapel jacket and tie. On the reverse of the photograph card are numerical graphite inscriptions and a large brown vertical imprint of the photographer’s information: [A. S. Thomas / 166 West Fifth Street / Cincinnati, O.].
