A black and white photographic postcard of a group of soldiers, including, Oscar Calmeise (center right) who served during WWI. The photograph, taken somewhere in France, features fifteen soldiers standing in a group wearing a variety of different uniforms. The back of the postcard has pre-printed text in black ink at the top that reads: [Carte Postale / Correspondance / Adresse]. There is an illegible mark between the pre-printed text. The postcard has faded text in the correspondence section that reads [Taken / somewhere in France / near a ruined town / notice my French / comrades. They / are very sociable]. Below the message, the name [Dabney] is written upside down in black ink.
