The photograph features a group of men and women standing in front of a building forming a semi-circle around two women at center. The women at center are standing in front of a post with a book on top of it. The woman directly behind the post has her arms raised above the book and stretched out towards the camera. The woman standing to the left of the post is facing outwards and is holding a fan.
