A full skin bird with teal and brown feathers and stuffed head is attached at the proper right front of the crown, with the bird's head and proper right wing reaching over the top of the crown and attached to the side. An ivory fabric designer label with black printed text is adhered to the center back interior of the hat that reads: "Mae Reeves / OF / PHILADELPHIA".
