A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of participants wading in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool during the twentieth anniversary of the March on Washington, August 27, 1983. The Reflecting Pool is centrally depicted in the foreground of the image with a number of participants wading in the water. One man, on the left side of the foreground, standing in the water with his back to the viewer, is wearing a sleeveless T-shirt with the name [Spike] above the Greek letters [O?F], the symbols of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. A large crowd of participants are gathered along the edges of the Reflecting Pool in the background of the image.
On the verso of the image are handwritten inscriptions that provide the image date, event information, location, image number, the name of the printer, and the signature of the donor. There are also two (2) stamp marks in black ink in the bottom right corner of the verso.
