A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of three (3) women participating in the March on Washington on August 28, 1963. Depicted in the right foreground of the image is a woman’s smiling face in profile. She is looking to the left edge of the image. Depicted center is the head and shoulders of a woman wearing sunglasses, facing the woman in profile. On the left side of the image, in the background, is another woman wearing a medium-toned top with a round button with a rectangular base pinned below her proper right shoulder. She is clasping a pair of sunglasses in her hands.
On the verso of the image are handwritten inscriptions that provide publication information, image date, event information, location, image number, and the signature of the donor. There are also three (3) stamp marks in black ink in the bottom right corner of the verso.
