Description:
A scan of a sepia print of a group picture of ladies on the exterior steps of a stone building. The sepia print itself is 5h x 7w on the scan. The print depicts 13 women in two rows (7 in bottom row, 6 in top row), all wearing hats and winter coats. Some of the women are holding books and folders. There are handwritten notes on the original print, and are seen on the scan, in black ink, identifying some of the women's names, with text in the footer, reading: [...Regional Conference - Austin (1933) / ..Lou Daniel, Regional Director. Henrietta Bell Sec'. - Tres...]. Nothing on back of print. There is an associated photocopy (11 x 8 1/2") with a handwritten note vertically down the right side, reading [Southwest Regional Conference. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, inc. 1933 / Myra Hemings, Founder - Former AKA President - last Pres. Delta Sigma Theta / Mary Lou Regional Director / Henrietta Wells Secy - Tres.
