The photograph depicts the nineteen members of the Tuskegee Airmen class SE-43-D. The men are in two rows. The front row of men are kneeling or squatting down in front of the back row. All of the men are wearing training uniforms, aviator helmets and goggles. The last name of every person is handwritten next to them in black ink. In the front row from left to right are Heber C. Houston, James E. Brothers, Arnold W. Cisco, Paul Adams, William J. Faulkner, Freddie E. Hutchins, Wilson V. Eagleson and Sidney J. Moseley. Standing in the back row from left to right are Ulysses S.
