Description:
A black and white photographic portrait of Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Basquiat is pictured from the shoulders up against a dark background. A circle of light is reflected on his face, creating shadows and a lighter grey circle of light behind him. His eyes are closed and the proper left side of his face is in shadow. He wears a light colored shirt over a black shirt with white polka dots.
Below the image is the title, edition information, date: [Jean Michel Basquiat Neg #26 2/15 1979/2003] followed by the signature of the photographer, Nicholas Taylor.
