Description:
Negro Digest, volume 1, number 9, featuring a round table discussion entitled, [The Case Against Segregation], with a con argument provided by Langston Hughes. The front cover has a dark pink banner with the mast head at top that reads [NEGRO DIGEST] in centered, white block lettering. A purple, vertical banner runs down the binding edge, with a white circle with [25¢] printed in the center in purple type. The main body of front cover is an off-white field with purple type, with the subtitle of the magazine, [A Magazine Of Negro Comment], centered at the top, between two purple lines in dark pink type. The rest of the off-white field features the table of contents of the magazine, including a roundtable discussion, twenty (20) articles and a book section with corresponding authors and page numbers listed.
