A sepia toned photograph of two men on horseback on a hilltop. The men are depicted on a grassy hilltop with a rocky outcropping, facing away from the viewer. The man on the right side of the image has his back to the viewer. He is leaning slightly to the right in his saddle and his horse is turned slightly to the left making the side of its face visible. The man is wearing dark trousers and a checkered jacket. The man and horse at the center of the image is depicted in profile, staring into the distance. He is wearing a light-toned, wide brimmed hat with an open crown. In the background is a dirt road leading to a hill covered thickly with pine on the left, and two low mountains on the right, in the far distance. The corners of the photograph have been clipped. The reverse is white with a price written in pencil at the top left corner that reads [25¢].
