Description:
A white pinback button endorsing Shirley Chisholm for president. The button features an illustration of the head and right raised arm of the Statue of Liberty in black ink. A series of red rays emanate from the statue. Red type curving along the top of the button reads [Liberty & Equality]. Red type in the middle of the button reads [Chisholm / 72]. The back of the button is rusted and has a straight pin extending beyond the diameter of the button. There is a printer's mark in red ink on the bottom edge of the button. There is another red ink mark at the top edge that is illegible.
