Tintype depicting standing woman wearing a full dark dress with a white collar. She wears a long beaded necklace that is tucked into the belt around her waist. The woman's left hand rests on a prop pillar with a book on it, and her right hand hangs at her side. Studio backdrop has fluted column at right but is otherwise blank.
