St. Marys River. These fields are actually on the Florida side of the river. –Description from photographer, David Soliday.
Description:
A digital aerial photograph depicting remnants of a rice field adjacent St. Marys River along the Florida-Georgia border. The image’s bottom edge features trees in Georgia, along the river bank. The river appears deep blue against the light green fields on the Florida side of the border, while persisting canals create intricate geometric shapes in the surrounding wetlands. The trees beyond the fields are taller and a sliver of another tributary flowing behind them can be seen in the top left corner.
