Description:
A digital aerial photograph of remnant rice fields along a section of Waccamaw River in South Carolina. The river can be seen flowing from the top of the image to the left edge, with Butler Island noticeably perched within its channel. Green remnant fields with vestigial canals flank both of its banks, while taller, denser, and greener vegetation can be seen in the background. In the top left, the confluence at which Jericho Creek and the Great Pee Dee River meet is visible in the distance.
