Description:
Dress worn as part of a costume by Cindy Herron of En Vogue for the music video "Hold On" (1990). The black sheath minidress has three-quarter length sleeves and an off-the-shoulder neckline. The knit stretch synthetic fabric has a structural detail of tight gathers, making a three-dimensional fabric. Looped black fringe is attached in seven (7) tiers down the front of the dress, with an eighth tier above the arms extending around the neckline so that the fringe drapes over the top of the wearer's arms. There is evidence of a white manufacturer's tag that has been cut from the center back interior neck. The dress is not lined.
