Description:
This black-and-white photograph depicts a section of the crowd at the Million Man March. In the foreground, a man, in profile to the viewer, gazes straight ahead. He wears a jacket and a baseball cap with a small sign on the side that reads "MILLION MAN / CHICAGO / MARCH OCT 16." The two men on either side of hime, both wearing baseball caps and sweatshirts with the hoods up, turn their faces downwards and away from the viewer. In the background is a tall sign with an drawing of a man in a long brown beard and flowing robes, with a rounded rectangular tablet in each hand. Written on either side of him are the words "PEACE and SERENITY."
