Description:
A metal printing plate mounted on a wood block used to print lodge certificates. The plate is in the shape of a building and has inscribed text and masonic imagery, beginning [M.W. PRINCE HALL GRAND LODGE / STATE OF / MASSACHUSETTS]. The plate is mounted onto a rectangular piece of board. There is handwritten text on the back which reads [Designed by / Bro. Edward S. S. Glover / of / Rising Sun Lodge / Boston]. One edge of the block is stamped with [American Eng. Co. Boston].
