Description:
A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of Harry "Sweets" Edison with a group of nine men. The men are depicted from the knees up, standing roughly in a row, facing the viewer. The man standing on the far left, is wearing a light toned, double breasted suit, white collared shirt, and a patterned tie. Next to him, and slightly in front of him, is a man in a light toned suit, white collared shirt, a patterned tie, and a white pocket square. He is holding a cigarette in his proper right hand. There are three men standing behind the man with the cigarette and the man standing in the center of the photograph, who is wearing a white jacket and dark pants. The man fourth from the right, is wearing a black jacket, light toned pants, white collared shirt, and a dark tie. There is another man standing just behind his proper left shoulder. The man second from the right, Harry "Sweets" Edison, is wearing a dark toned jacket, white collared shirt, and patterned tie. The partially depicted man on the far right is wearing medium a toned jacket, dark pants, white collared shirt, a medium toned tie, and a hat. In the right background is a partially visible sign with the word, [“Don”] printed in script letters. In the left background are two venetian blinds. There are no inscriptions on the front of the photograph.
