Description:
A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of a man. The man is depicted from the chest up. His proper left shoulder is held slightly forward and his head is turned towards the viewer. He is wearing a white suit jacket, white collared shirt, a dark tie, a dark pocket square in his proper left breast pocket, and a flower pinned to his proper left lapel. He is shown against a white gradient background. In the top left corner of the photograph is a handwritten inscription in black ink that reads, [To / Sally Love & / Best Wishes Always / Trevor]. In the center of the bottom edge of the photograph is a second inscription in black ink that reads, [2”] along with pencil marks on all four borders. There is a partial, semi-circular, embossed mark in the bottom left corner with the text, [Oct 1[---?]], and with stars on either side of the text. There are additional pencil notations written on the back of the photograph.
