Madhubuti) at Wayne State University in Detroit published with the title Rappin' & Readin' by Broadside Voices in 1970. The cover [2010.42b] features a black and white photo of Madhubuti (Lee) in left profile from the neck up. He is looking down slightly and wearing a collared shirt. The title of the album appears in vertical white text on the left edge of the album cover. The bottom of the cover is printed in white text and reads [Don L. Lee].
