Description:
A black and white photograph of the United States' Amateur Athletic Union track and field team in Tokyo. The group of men stand in front of a plane of the Japan Air Lines company. There are eight (8) men in the group and all wear white shirts, dark jackets, white pants, and a striped tie. Their jackets all have a patch on the PL breast reading AAU USA. The men stand in a line with Richard Howard on the far right. Their coach, Johnny Morriss, stands third from the right.
