Description:
A program for a performance by Nina Simone at Carnegie Hall on April 12, 1963. The 14-page program has a cover with a black and white illustration of the interior of Carnegie Hall. The interior pages present the program of songs planned for the performance, a mix of folk songs, spirituals, blues, and popular songs, including a "Medley of Miss Simone's Popular Hits." The program also has articles about upcoming performances planned for the 1962-63 season at Carnegie Hall as well as numerous advertisements. The back cover is a full page advertisement for L&M cigarettes.
