Description:
A color photograph of the brick facade of Baltimore's Orchard Street United Methodist Church, which is believed to have played a role in the Underground Railroad, captured by great-grandniece of Harriet Tubman Mariline Northrup Wilkins.
The image depicts a portion of the northeast facade, with the large rose oculus window at top center of the photograph. There are several smaller windows beneath the circular rose window, including two tall rectangular windows beneath pediments on each side. An inscription reads [Richard Street Church in / Baltimore, Maryland - 1827-1837 / Picture taken Fall 1980].
