Summary:
This device was part of the avionics for the Space Shuttle Orbital Vehicle-102. It was flown in space on the STS-9 mission. The device was transferred from NASA in 2014. Using a crystal oscillator, it proveded a stable and accurate time reference for all other Orbiter operations.
