Label Text:
Changing hairstyles of the 1930s and 40s brought new fashions for floral accessorizing. With upswept styles earrings made of living or dried flowers were novel fashion statement. In the case of live botanicals, a small bit of moistened cotton or wicking would be included in the design to help keep the flowers fresh.
