Description:
A length of textile (once a section of a quilt cover) dyed in a complex white-on-blue design of a large grid alternating pictorial motifs and various checks or plaids, all dyed with ikat. The design gives the suggestion of patchwork, but is a single skilled construction of well-planned dyeing and weaving.
