Detached folio from a Qur'an; recto: Sura al-Muddaththir (the Cloaked one), sura 74: part of 31,32-56, Sura al-Qiyama (the Resurrection), sura 75:1 and part of 2, recto begins with "yashawu", one column, 15 lines of text; verso: sura 75:2-38, verso begins with "al-lawama", one column, 15 lines of text; Arabic in black, blue, white and gold naskh and muhaqqaq scripts, sura headings in white and gold thuluth script, vocalized in black with red letters for reading and recitation, marginal medallion and inscription; one of a group of twenty folios.
Border: Text is set in gold, red, blue and purple rulings on cream-colored paper with marginal medallions.
