Description:
Shape: Irregularly shaped fragment from the lower section of a ceramic vessel of unknown form.
Clay: Fine light-beige clay having few inclusions and a moderate number of air pockets.
Glaze: Rich, copper-pigmented, finely crackled turquoise glaze showing substantial flaking. Glaze has pooled above a raised horizontal band and at the bottom of the shard.
Decoration: An underglaze iron-black design is painted onto a white slip which covers the beige-colored body.
Marks: None.
