Description:
Deep bowl with walls curving up from foot and expanding gently to everted plain rim. Walls trimmed about 1 cm above foot. Trimmed foot tapering inward to foot rim on exterior. Nearly vertical on interior. Flat base with short firing crack. Ring inside bottom (left by throwing tool) that approximates diameter of foot. Small ring-shaped scar (?) in center bottom. Slightly warped into oval section. Several vertical cracks of varying length in rim.
Clay: Grayish porcelain
Glaze: Vessel glazed entirely with clear glaze, slightly bluish tone, satiny texture. Glaze wiped off footrim. Some gravel/coarse sand (from stacking) adhering to glaze at edge of foot.
