Description:
Pilgrim bottle in the form of a sheepskin pouch, a flattened oval; handle, pinched five times, joins cylindrical spout at one end; square-cut foot.
Clay: pinkish-buff stoneware.
Glaze: medium green, glossy with iridescence and extremely fine crackle over creamy white slip which shows irregularly below termination of the glaze. Both stop well above the foot.
