Raqqa
Jar, large, inverted pear form: assembled from fragments.
Clay: soft, buff-white.
Glaze: originally deep turquoise green for the most part; disintegrated, encrusted, and displaying a high iridescence.
Decoration: painted in black under glaze (designs wholly fragmentary).
