Mesopotomian, 12th-14th century,
Raqqa
Pitcher, in flattened pear-form; high spreading foot; handle broken off.
Clay: soft, grayish. Glaze: turquoise green, almost wholly covered by an iridescent patina of advanced disintegration (flaking off).
Decoration: traces of black painting under glaze.
