Description:
Cylindrical incense burner (kuchiyose koro [Jpn]) Pierced silver cover.
Clay: Raku type.
Glaze: brilliant dark brick-red, clouded with gray and purplish-brown. Red Raku glaze (red slip under clear glaze) with areas of carbon stain.
