Signature of Katagiri Katsumoto (1556-1615)
Bowl, low ovoidal; recessed foot. Hand modeled; exterior covered with incised lines.
Clay: dense, gray. Raku type.
Glaze: thin, dark-green. Copper-green lead glaze.
Decoration: Kiri crest in relief.
