Description:
Tea ceremony water jar (mizusashi), large, deep, irregularly quadrilateral; four heavy stump feet; corrugated. Lacquer cover.
Clay: hard, dense, sonorous. Brown.
Glaze: clear glaze over white slip. Clear glaze extends over feet. Inside: hatched with radiating lines.
