Abstract:
This field book is part of the animal research data of the Division of Zoological Research of the National Zoological Park (U. Dittus, Director of the Smithsonian Primate Biology Program in Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka. The present field book, divided in two folders for preservation reasons, contains research forms showing trap data for the macaques that were studied in 1994. The forms show ID initials and number, sex, weight, date trapped, date released, time processed, time trapped, time released, data on anaesthesia, tattoo, deuterium oxide, various body measurements, blood DNA samples, dental data, with additional remarks and examinations, milk samples when possible. The forms are dated from July 13 to August 27, 1994.
