Abstract:
Robert P. Higgins, born in 1932, is an invertebrate zoologist who held various positions at the Smithsonian Institution and the National Museum of Natural History, 1968-1996. The Smithsonian Institution Archives house field notes that document his collecting trips around the world. This field book is related to a trip to Japan during the years 1985-1986. The notes are mainly numbers on lodging and food expenses, dated from March 21 to April 25.
